What is Low Voltage?

Electrically, the potential difference between two points is called voltage. Voltages below 1000 Volts are called low voltage. In general, 220 volts between phase-neutral and 380 volts between phase-phase with a frequency of 50 Hz are used in homes and workplaces in our country.

Areas where low voltage is used can be classified as follows

  • Homes and workplaces
  • Machines operating below 1000 volts
  • Electronic circuits
  • Control circuits
  • Low voltage transformers
  • Low voltage power supplies
  • Lighting circuits

Apart from the areas mentioned above, low voltage must be installed for all equipment and installations used below 1000 Volts.

As Beta Elektrik Mühendislik, we continue to provide services in almost every field related to low voltage systems as in other fields.
